Our treatments are reimbursed by Dutch health insurers

Our treatments are reimbursed under the basic health insurance
Connection SGGZ provides specialist mental health care (SGGZ). Every Dutch person is legally insured for this care under the compulsory basic health insurance. This means that all our treatments are reimbursed by your health insurer.
Mandatory deductible excess
If you haven’t met your deductible excess yet, your health insurer may charge you after treatment for the excess amount of at least € 385. These costs are for your own account. If the insurer deducts the excess from the reimbursement to be paid to Connection SGGZ, you will receive an invoice.
Restitutiepolis or Naturapolis (average premiums, limited choice policy)
When you take out basic health insurance, you can choose between a natura polis or restitutiepolis. A restitutiepolis is a free-choice policy, which allows you to select your own healthcare provider. This way you can actually choose which care best suits your needs. We therefore always recommend a restitutiepolis.
With a naturapolis, 75% of our treatment is reimbursed. As we do not consider it right to recover these costs from our clients, we agree with this reimbursement. As a result, the treatment will still be free of charge for you.
We bear the personal contribution which is required by health insurers. We do ask an independent contribution related to luxury and comfort.
Landgoed Kortenbos
You pay an independent contribution of € 2250 for costs that are not care-related, aimed at comfort.
South Africa rehab centre
You pay an independent contribution of € 1250 for costs that are not care-related but focused on comfort. If you undergo treatment with us in South Africa, ticket costs are at your own expense. We will take care of booking your ticket. This will be discussed in detail during the admission process.
Allowance
For inpatient treatment, we ask our clients to take into account a weekly allowance. This money can be used, for instance, to buy personal items and care products at the rehab centre. We recommend a minimum amount of € 50 per week; we can always discuss this height.
Medical expenses
During our clinical treatments abroad, medical expenses may be incurred outside our treatment. For this purpose we advise you to take out travel insurance.
AGB Code
Connection SGGZ is included in the AGB (Algemene Gegevens Beheer Zorgverleners or General Database for Care Providers) as an authorized healthcare institution. Our AGB code is 22-221058.
Through this admission, health insurers know that we are a recognized healthcare institution.
