Private health care

Do you need customised treatment for your addiction but you are not covered by the Dutch health care system? Or would you prefer to avoid interference from your doctor or health care insurer? In such cases, private health care, for which the costs are settled by means of out-of-pocket payments, might be the solution. At Connection SGGZ, we offer this type of care at our location in South Africa. Our team of professional counsellors and recovery mentors are here to guide you towards a life that is free of addiction.

The benefits of the Connection SGGZ private rehab clinic

If you choose private rehab, you do not need health insurance. This has several advantages:

  • no waiting list
  • option of a private room
  • complete privacy as costs are not declared to a health insurer

What does treatment at our private rehabilitation centre entail?

At Connection SGGZ, our care always meets your personal needs. To clearly define these in advance, we would like to get to know you better.

Addiction assessment

While we are treating you, you are our main priority. That is why we start with an addiction assessment, which is extremely important in addiction care. As you do not need a referral from your GP or health professional, the addiction assessment is often the first moment of contact between you and our private rehabilitation centre. It enables us to determine whether our treatment is the right choice for you. If so, we will assess your specific needs for overcoming addiction and explore how Connection SGGZ can support you in this journey. We charge € 1000 for the addiction assessment.

Our treatment

We specialise in treating addiction to alcohol, drugs, prescription drugs and behavioural addiction, focusing on root causes, among other things. As a result, every treatment is unique. Our personalised approach consists of several group therapy sessions and 4 individual sessions per week. In addition, you can use the excellent amenities and facilities at our private rehab centre, which will also contribute to your long-term recovery.

Why choose Connection SGGZ addiction care?

  • Our treatments are reimbursed by your health insurer
  • Short waiting list
  • Personalised and specialised treatment
  • Working with recovery mentors

Our private rehab centre in South Africa is situated in a beautiful location surrounded by nature so you can focus fully on your recovery. Rehab can be demanding, which is why relaxation in a safe environment is essential. To encourage this, we offer the following facilities and activities:

  • a gym, including classes led by instructors
  • a swimming pool
  • rooms with ocean and mountain views
  • 3 varied and freshly prepared meals per day
  • weekly outings to places like Table Mountain or to see African penguins

How much does private rehab cost at Connection SGGZ?

Our inpatient treatments require an intensive approach. We therefore usually recommend a 6-week stay, with prices starting from € 9,800 per 4 weeks for a shared room. If you prefer a private room, we can arrange one for € 14,000 per 4 weeks. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions about the costs of private rehab.
